Attention Students: You must have a positive balance, enough money in your account to cover any extras you want, and an appetite. Money must be brought to your favorite high school secretary before 10:30am (really, she would accept the money anytime of the day, she’s nice like that) each day.  Please don’t give money to the cashiers in the lunch line. They have enough to worry about!

To all licensed high school drivers: We have made great efforts to add parking spots in the school’s parking lots. Please use them! Residents that live near the school do not receive their mail because cars continue to park in front of their mailboxes. Please, do not park in front of or near mailboxes! Also, students who drive to school and park in the north parking lot, please be careful while driving into the parking lot. Be aware of others, not only in the parking lot but also in life. Know your surroundings! If you have any questions, please see Dept. Walton.

Culture Club meets in Profe Hauger's room every Friday during lunch. All are welcome! 

If you are interested in finding out about the opportunities in FCCLA, you are invited to bring your lunch to the computer lab on Wednesdays.

Dig Pink Volleyball - The annual Dig Pink night for DRHS Volleyball will be on Thursday, October 2nd.  Shirt and sweatshirt orders are due no later than Monday, September 15th.  Use the following link to access the online store:  https://dellrapidsvballpink2025.itemorder.com/shop/home/.

  JUNIORS: You are responsible for hosting the After Prom on April 11th 2026. You are also responsible for raising money to put on a great After Prom, which includes arranging food, gifts and entertainment for all Prom goers…This takes a tremendous amount of money….however, no need to stress about doing many fundraisers throughout the year….we have found a way that does not take a lot of our time. Instead of doing many fundraisers, we started hosting a Basketball Tournament in Dell Rapids each December to take care of the fundraising all in one event.

This year, the 5th Annual Dells December Classic will be held on Sunday, December 7th. Put it in your calendars! ALL the proceeds from this event go to the Junior Class and any leftover funds not used for the After Prom remains with the Junior class to use as they please. In the past, the Dells December Classic has raised over $15,000 for each Junior Class. To do this again, we are seeking your help! THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN!

We need help from all the Junior Class Students and Junior Class Parents to make this event another successful one. The best part is that this is the only fundraiser that we will have to do all year, and the solicitations are being done for us (attracting teams to enter the tournament). What we need from you is to simply donate to concessions and donate your time for concessions help, ticket takers, setup, clean up and/or refereeing on December 7th. Put this date in your calendar! This tournament will be scheduled from 8 AM to 7 PM approximately and will be hosted in all 3 public school gyms (High, Middle and Elementary Schools – 6 courts total). 40-42 teams are the maximum that we can handle in one day, which gives us 66 games total. Let’s work together to make this tournament another success!
